Assamm's food inspiration explores Thailand's unique location as a bridge for centuries of migration between Asia and South-East Asia, which allowed Thai cuisine to emerge as a rich melting pot of Asian flavours and aromas from, Malaysia, Southern Indonesia, China, Vietnam, India and Northern Myanmar.

Although it is true that pure Thai cuisine has already adopted an enormous range of flavours and aromas from its neighbours, these represent only a small fraction of the amazing possibilities available in pan-Asian cuisine. Assam aims to be the Thai restaurant, serving a wider than normal variety of Asian styles which will be a fun experience for their customers, and also be a true reflection of the food experience in Thailand.
